Being a HUGE horror fan, our love for the EVIL DEAD franchise is dear to us. The movies, the TV Series and now the Video Game! Ever since they re-mastered ‘Resident Evil 2’ we’ve become addicted to videos games again, especially horror video games. With the announcement last year of an EVIL DEAD Video game, we couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for us horror video gamers.

Here’s what we know so far. The game was due to be released in February 2022 but it was recently announced that they had delayed the release date so they could give the developers more time to get things right in the game. They don’t want to disappoint the fans on this one! So now the release date is MAY 13, 2022. It was just announced that they will be taking Pre-Orders for the game starting starting next week! With special incentives for Pre-Ordering the game.

Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game is set to feature single-player and co-op gameplay, promising to be the ultimate Evil Dead experience in the world of video games. Several characters from the movies and TV series will be playable in the game, along with four different versions of Deadite-slaying horror hero Ash Williams.

Yes, Bruce Campbell does do the voice of Ash in the game including all the different versions of Ash. How exciting is that? Other confirmed playable characters thus far include Ellen Sandweiss‘s Cheryl Williams from The Evil Dead, Marcus Gilbert‘s Arthur from Army of Darkness, and Richard DeManincor‘s Scotty from The Evil Dead, as well as Ray Santiago‘s Pablo Simon Bolivar and Dana DeLorenzo‘s Kelly Maxwell from “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” with the demon Eligos from the Starz series being included as well. Henrietta from Evil Dead 2 and Evil Ash from Army of Darkness will also be featured in the game, as well as Henry the Red from Army of Darkness.

Evil Dead: The Game is an upcoming co-op and PvP multiplayer title in development for PC, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
