It’s hard to believe that this film was a made for TV Mini Series as it features some of the creepiest scenes ever captured on film. Masterful direction from Tobe Hooper and great writing from Stephen King how can you go wrong? We highly recommend this film as a must have for any horror film collection!

This week on the HORROR VEIN Podcast we review the classic vampire horror film ‘SALEM’S LOT’ directed by Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and written by Stephen King. The film stars David Soul, James Mason, and Bonnie Bedelia. We also talk about what we did over the holiday weekend and our usual fun filled banter.
Here’s a synopsis of the film: David returns to Salem, finding the formerly warm and friendly community to be downright sinister; he suspects that the bizarre behaviour of his old neighbours is due to the work of an eccentric antiques dealer.
