Starring: Rafe Spall, James Collier, and Sam Troughton

Synopsis: Reuniting after the tragic death of their friend, four college pals set out to hike through the Scandinavian wilderness. A wrong turn leads them into the mysterious forests of Norse legend, where an ancient evil exists and stalks them at every turn.

Ways to watch the film: Netflix only

Would we recommend the film? Not really. Only if you don’t care too much for plot holes and want to see a pretty cool monster.

What we liked about the film: It’s a well made film, with decent acting. The film has some nice Special FX and a cool Monster.

What we didn’t like: The plot is weak along with some of the characters. There’s no sense of dread or urgency. The Monster, although very cooling from a distance, was a little disappointing in our eyes up close. The film is not scary and we didn’t like the ending.
