Deadline reports that Solstice Studios will be releasing the first film in theaters during the pandemic. The Russell Crowe psychological thriller called ‘Unhinged’ will be released in theaters on July 1, 2020. But this is all dependent if everything goes as planned. This could still change as we move closer to the date due to the situation of the COVID 19 virus. Since people seem to be eager to return to movie theaters, the studio is taking the chance and releasing a major film before any other studio. Will this pay off? We will have to wait and see.

“They said they’ve survived floods, hurricanes, riots and shootings, things they had to adapt to in the moment,” he said. “They all say, we’ve had time to prepare and we’re going to do this right. They understand there’s no getting this three-quarters right. It has to be 100% safe, and their levels of preparation gave us the confidence we needed to do this.”
