‘SCREAM’ the fifth installment of the popular horror franchise will be coming to theaters JANUARY 14, 2022 and we are EXCITED!
Talk about the NEW trailer for the movie has been rumored for weeks and now they just released the Official Movie Poster with Ghostface on the cover with a bloody knife. If that doesn’t get you excited about the film I don’t know what will!
Not much is known are far as plot of the film but we know that a lot of the Original Cast will be involved in the film which is very exciting. Plus the film is being directed by the duo that brought you the great dark and bloody comedy ‘READY OR NOT’ Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett. If this new ‘SCREAM’ installment is anything like the film ‘READY OR NOT’ it should be a really fun and bloody ride.
Neve Campbell returns to her role as ‘Sydney Prescott’, David Arquette returns as ‘Dewy Riley’, and Courteney Cox returns as reporter ‘Gale Weathers’. Since being HUGE fans of the slasher franchise, it’s great to see the return of these iconic characters back on the silver screen!
All we can say is that we hope and prey that this new film lives up to the all the hype and becomes a NEW classic franchise that all horror fans can cherish and love. Not succumb to the Hollywood babble of flash with no substance and keep the bloody gore fans love about the films. We’ll just have to wait and see.
