This week on the HORROR VEIN Podcast we begin our Halloween Celebration month where we celebrate everything HALLOWEEN! We have all kinds of surprises for you this month with special guests, holiday insights, and horror films to watch on Halloween or to get you in the spirit of the holiday!
The movie review this week is John Carpenter’s ‘THE FOG’ (1980) with stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Adrienne Barbeau, and Tom Atkins. We also talk about upcoming horror films coming to different platforms and we talk about Don decorating his home for HALLOWEEN!
Here is a synopsis of the film: Strange things begin to occurs as a tiny California coastal town prepares to commemorate its centenary. Inanimate objects spring eerily to life; Rev. Malone (Hal Holbrook) stumbles upon a dark secret about the town’s founding; radio announcer Stevie (Adrienne Barbeau) witnesses a mystical fire; and hitchhiker Elizabeth (Jamie Lee Curtis) discovers the mutilated corpse of a fisherman. Then a mysterious iridescent fog descends upon the village, and more people start to die.
